“Recognizing that you are not where you want to be is a starting point to begin changing your life.”

“There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.”

Leeds Centre for Psychological Development (LCPD) offers a wide range of cpd short courses and day workshops which are tailored to the professional development requirements of practitioners in the helping professions to enable them to engage more effectively with their clients.
LCPD has developed over many years. The centre's roots are in the psychotherapy training programme established by Jane and Robin Walford in 1994 which became a Masters degree in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy. More recently Robin and Jane have become interested in facilitating a range of shorter cpd courses for qualified professionals who want to augment their clinical practice with new knowledge, understanding and skills. They have also introduced other experienced trainers in a variety of modalities. Their talents add a greater depth and wealth of approaches to the courses on offer to meet the continuing professional development requirements of the qualified practitioner.
CPD through short courses is both our purpose and our goal.
